Sara provided exactly the sort of instruction I was looking for. I can read and write Spanish fairly well, but I struggle to speak and understand fast enough to take part in a normal conversation, and I frequently make mistakes and run into words I don't know. Sara spoke very clearly and adjusted her speed and vocabulary to make sure that I could understand her. She patiently corrected my mistakes in a very unobtrusive and encouraging way, and when I got stuck, she provided the words I needed in a form that I could review later. If your goal is to improve your conversational fluency, then she can definitely help, and I highly recommend her.

Sara is extremely supportive and is very flexible with scheduling classes. She really helps me to stay motivated and I really look forward to classes with her! She has a really great sense of humor and is so creative in her approach as a teacher! I can't say enough positive things about her!

I love my sessions with Sara. Two full years we've been meeting now, and my Spanish-speaking friends (especially those in Mexico, whom I recently saw for the first time in a year) all express amazement at how far my Spanish has advanced in that time. For the first time in my life, with a number of them I'm finding that my Spanish is now significantly better than their English, which is a happy day.

I love that Sara doesn't just correct what I say when I make a mistake, in a friendly way but is super encouraging too. She always waits patiently for me to try and say what is on my mind in Spanish and never makes me feel like I'm making no sense etc. Thanks, Sara, your help is much appreciated!
