I teach teens (16+) and adults, especially enjoying absolute beginners. I hold a Magistra Artium in Ethnology, Archaeology, and Sociology and worked as an archaeologist in Peru. In 2016 I started to teach German, face-to-face and online. My lessons are tailored to your goals—conversation, grammar, or culture—and are both practical and fun. Now based in Spain.

In my classes, I love to use structured methods with a variety of tools and an accompanying Google Document.
- Course A has its focus on grammar but also includes conversation elements, suitable for A1+ levels.
- Course B, suitable for A2+, covers cultural, literary, and daily conversations.
- Course C, designed for business students (A1-C1), focuses on grammar and professional dialogue, with optional exam prep.

Heiki is an excellent teacher who takes the time to explain sometimes complicated German grammar rules in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. I have to admit that before I started to learn German I was slightly put off by the complexity of the grammar but not anymore. I fully recommend Heiki to anyone who wants to learn German in a relaxed, fun manner.

Seit dreieinhalb Jahren bringt mir Heike wöchentlich Deutsch bei. Heike ist immer pünktlich, gut gelaunt, geduldig und bereitet sich immer gut auf die Stunde vor. Ihre strukturierten Unterrichtsstunden haben mir sehr geholfen, meine Ziele zu erreichen.

Heike is a fantastic teacher, one of the best I've ever had in any foreign language. She comes prepared with ideas and excellent materials for every lesson, uses Google Docs to document corrections, explains things clearly, and is very dynamic and fun to talk to. I am thoroughly enjoying my sessions with her and would highly recommend her as a teacher.
