Hi everyone! My name is Jemina. I am 26 years old and I am from the UK. Learning languages is one of my favourite hobbies. I studied Russian and German at school and at the University of Cambridge and I have lived and worked in both Russia and Germany for a couple of years. At the moment I am also trying to learn French. Languages allow me to understand another culture and also provide me with opportunities to travel and make friends around the world. This is why they are such a big passion of mine!Ik als leerkracht
I have taught children, students and young adults English abroad on summer camps and in youth centres. I have as tutored students in the UK German and Russian. As I speak over 3 languages, the process of language learning is very familiar to me so I am able to help others effectively. My fluency in Russian,German and English will be of great benefit to you if you speak any of these languages as I will be able to help you with common difficulties that people from these countries have.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My lessons are fun and engaging and I mainly focus on conversational practice. We can discuss topics of your choice and also add some variety to the lessons by watching videos, reading stories or doing role plays. Throughout the lesson I can correct your mistakes and teach you new words and phrases. After the lesson, I will send you a document with new vocabulary and key points from the lesson so that you can go over what you learnt.
On the whole, my teaching style is very flexible and I will cater the lesson to you and your needs so that you can achieve your goals.Mijn lesmateriaal

Jamina is a top-class teacher.
She is very tolerant and I feel very comfortable making many mistakes while talking to her, she corrects me and writing everything down for me, I feel more and more comfortable talking thanks to her help. I feel that her great knowledge and experience in language learning enables her to be so good at helping others learn too.
She is flexible to your needs and teaches whatever you want to know and also can easily guide you if you don't know exactly where to start.

Keuze van de leerkracht
Jemina made me feel super comfortable speaking German with her, this is super important but it is also usually extremely difficult for me. She explained the different grammar mistakes I made and went through everything with me. So in only 30 minutes (trial lesson), Jemina has taught me pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and has also helped me build my confidence a little.
