I started teaching English as part of my gap year travels by teaching students in government secondary schools in Tanzania. Later on, I successfully completed a TEFL course and I taught English on my integrated year abroad (as part of my university degree) in Austria. I started teaching again in Cologne in July 2018. I love helping students improve their English language skills and become more confident in using their new knowledge with each passing day.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My teaching style is fun, enthusiastic and focused on the needs of the student. I tailor make my lessons using a variety of different techniques, focusing on the interests of the student and ensuring that all the difficult parts (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation etc) of learning English are handled in easy to understand ways. I like to include games, quizzes and I use visual aids. I have experience using the English-only method and also of teaching English through the medium of other languages, notably French and German.
NB - My availability changes from week to week, so please book week day (i.e. Mon - Fri) lessons one at a time, or block book them in the evenings.4.9
