It's hard for me to express how effective of a teacher Anton is. Before I got on Italki, I thought I was always going to be bad at learning languages and that my dream of speaking Russian was impossible. Lessons with Anton have proven me wrong. Due to his encouragement, teaching style and relentless enthusiasm, I always feel comfortable and engaged in lessons. Every time I'm having a problem or a rough day in Russian, he finds a way to keep me motivated. Anton has also shared his personal language learning methods and habits which have made my study time way more effective. With Anton's help, I was able to go from complete beginner/pre-A1 to B1 in less than nine months. If you're just starting Russian, or if you're more advanced, I think lessons or conversations with Anton are always extremely enjoyable and he makes sure you're constantly learning. Super awesome lessons, I couldn't recommend this teacher more highly.

I've been taking lessons from Anton for several months, and there's a reason why I've stuck with him. He's a super-friendly, encouraging instructor! He does a great job of helping students to self-correct, which is far more useful than having the answer given to you. I would definitely recommend Anton to anyone who wants to learn Russian!

Anton é um ótimo professor, está sempre pontual, bem humorado e entusiasmado. Além disso, é muito didático, paciente e focado, mas nunca enfadonho, pois possui senso de necessidade, oportunidade e adequação. Por eu ser iniciante no estudo da língua inglesa, em nossas primeiras aulas, tivemos muito suporte da língua espanhola (idioma que adoro, mas que não é o foco dos meus estudos no momento), porém, cada vez menos recorremos ao espanhol, conforme vou aprendendo.
