Hi I'm Alex,
I relocated a lot in life, something that led me to naturally learn languages quickly. With a history of living in Russia, Israel, Canada, and now in Peru, my focus is always on being in an engaging environment that is stimulating and conducive to growth. I absolutely love learning new subjects. I learned English as a child, watching TV in Israel, and Spanish at age 24 in only 6 months. Naturally sharing my love of learning with others, I found myself teaching English to Peruvian children and Spanish to foreigners in Peru, all in a conversational style, maintaining the liveliness and joy of learning.Ik als leerkracht
Having worked at retreat centers, speaking closely with people overcoming trauma, gave me valuable experience that I can transfer into my work as a teacher. This experience led me to meet people with acceptance and patience, understanding that each one of us has their own personal journey, and that wherever we are, we can work together to remove blockages (such as with learning new subjects) and find balance, reaching whatever set goal at a comfortable pace.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
The teaching style I provide is conversational, fun, and easy. Having learned languages naturally many times, I highly support the conversational style, with a special focus on topics of interest that deeply motivate you to learn.
In our lessons we cover:
- Simulations of exciting situations that motivate you to use the language
- Having experienced adapting to new environments I can help you go over pronunciation, as well as the nuances of culture and language, and what to expect from relocating to a new country
- Using mnemonic techniques, such as association, we will be memorizing new information instantly, so you could use it immediately after our lessonMijn lesmateriaal

My kid really enjoys these lessons. Waiting for it. At the end of the lesson he often says that he feels like the lesson lasted 10 minutes, not a full hour.
I see him learning new words and grammar, drastically increasing his level.

Alex is an amazing person and a great teacher. Her warm, understanding approach to the student and enthusiastic demeanor make the stress disappear. Continuous improvement of the way of teaching, adapting it to the circumstances, and pupil, brings great results and is extremely motivating. The teacher laws very generous with her time. I had problems accessing both screens that I needed to use. The teacher is very pleasant and is patient. She has stories to tell about to learn the different tenses. I am very pleased with my choice of teacher
