Hi! I'm Fredy, and I've been teaching Spanish on Italki for 5 years. I also have experience as a classroom teacher in schools in my country. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults in Colombia, teaching mathematics. Durante el último año, Fredy ha sido un profesor excepcional, ya que ha adaptado todas las clases a mis necesidades de aprendizaje. Cuando le comuniqué que tenía intención de presentarme al examen DELE, inmediatamente preparó clases ad hoc, me dio consejos precisos y recursos para trabajar y mejorar mi preparación en todas las partes del examen. Fredy tiene un enfoque interactivo y orientado a la conversación. Las lecciones siempre están bien preparadas y estructuradas, con un enfoque en la corrección de la sintaxis y el vocabulario, lo que me ha ayudado a expresarme con más fluidez y confianza. El uso de documentos en Google Drive es extremadamente práctico para repasar las lecciones. Las clases son dinámicas, adaptadas a mis necesidades y me animan a hablar al máximo.

Frediy is an amazing Spanish teacher. His method of creating a document for each lesson and then following up with a summary later in the week is incredibly helpful and really great for reviewing what you learned. I'd highly recommend booking a lesson with him.

Today had again a fantastic "clase de español". Fredy is a very pleasant teacher and besides that he is very professional. I am over 70 years old and studying español since 5 years. (with long pauses). He always gives me a positive feeling and he even tries to bring me at a higher level (B2) though my memory isn't that young anymore. He always has subjects to talk about or short video s with interesting questions. He has a special way of teaching. Whilst I am talking he is typing so he doesn't interrupt me all the time, but he corrects it after I have finished. Also thanks for your patience Fredy!
