Let's learn French together! My name is Julie, and I'm a French tutor from France. As a tutor and language learner myself, I want to show you how to enjoy your studies and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
My present students come from all backgrounds, countries, age ranges and levels of competency French. I have helped dozens of students make the breakthroughs they have been searching for. Just read my reviews!
I would describe my teaching style as interactive, supportive and fun.
I take notes for you during class so you can relax and focus on speaking! These are NOT just quick notes in the chat screen: I offer all of my students a PDF document at the end of each session, which includes errors and corrections, vocabulary, and pronunciation notes from that class.
- Free conversation: we talk about whatever you want and we will focus on your pronunciation and your use of the French grammar.
- Guided conversation: we talk about a specific topic based on a text, an audio file or a video you chose before our session.
- If you need help with texts you wrote in French, send me a message, I can also correct them.

Julie takes a lot of time and care to prepare extremely helpful corrections based on your speaking! I was so happy to get a detailed list at the end of my lesson with specific mistakes I made (in grammar and pronunciation), which I can work on before our next conversation. I booked a lesson with Julie very last minute for help practicing for an exam the following day and she accepted my request and delivered a very helpful lesson giving me feedback on my grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation as well as ideas for points of discussion around the topic. I felt comfortable and that she was engaged with what I was saying. Would definitely recommend

My first lesson with Julie was just what I wanted, an opportunity to have conversation and practice speaking. We had an interesting conversation and then she gave me feedback on pronunciation and grammar at the end, so I have something to work on, but wasn’t interrupted while I was attempting to speak.
