I was born in Germany and moved to the States when I was twenty years old. I've been teaching and pursuing my acting career in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. I currently live in Germany.

I have taught adults and children from all walks of life for more than 20 years now. I tutor all skill levels in German and English and beginners in French and Japanese.

My teaching centers around the system in use by the CIA and FBI. The key to learning a language quickly is to apply interval recall of vocabulary while forming sentences.
This way of learning makes the learner produce the words instantly out of his or her own mind (as opposed to a book or another outside source) therefore creating the new neural pathways.
We can work at a quick pace because the more sentences you produce the better you will retain the new information.
I also use pictures to create a simple prompt and response conversation style which enables even beginning students to talk in the target language.5.0

I have taken classes with Celine for about two and a half years now. First, she taught me German and now she is teaching me French from German. She is excellent at explaining grammar and always makes sure that her classes are fun. Our classes are always filled with laughter and good vibes.

Ich hatte mittlerweile einige Stunden bei Celine und muss sagen, dass ich mich bei ihr sehr wohl fühle. Sie erklärt alles sehr verständlich, bringt viel Geduld mit und geht die Wünsche auf ihre Schüler ein. Ihre positive und enstpannte Art bringen eine gute Lernatmosphäre. Das Lernen mit ihr macht wirklich Spass. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Celine is an amazing teacher. In just 4 sessions, I feel like I've already learned so much from her. She's patient, articulate, and very keen. I have tried several times to learn a language and was unsuccessful because of my personal tendencies. Celine is the first teacher to be able to give me insights and directions to overcome or be able to use those characteristics. A language is not simply a body of knowledge to learn but a whole culture, mindset and history to absorb. Celine very skillfully makes it an enriching process on many levels. I’m grateful I have finally found a brilliant teacher as I am certain of my success this time!
