Laura is an incredible teacher. I began my lessons with her in preparation for a trip to the Netherlands. During our first lesson, I struggled with "hello" and the letters of the alphabet. Progress came swiftly and steadily. After a few weeks, I was able to answer simple questions about my weekends. Now, after four months, we converse about our lives, cultures, and interests. Laura's lessons included written materials, dialogues (both written and spontaneous), conversation questions, and a running notes page. I appreciated her patience, the clarity of her instruction, and her humor. Most of all, she was someone that I thoroughly enjoyed talking to, which is the *best* motivation for learning a language.
