I teach Finnish and English here on Italki! I'm from Southern Finland and I'm currently studying Mandarin Chinese, linguistics and cultural research at university. I love learning new languages, and I hope to help others enjoy language learning as much as I do! In addition to learning languages, I have many hobbies. I love everything from watching movies and playing video games to cooking and painting! Travelling is also something that is very close to my heart. I am a community tutor here on Italki. I have previously tutored pupils at primary schools, and I also tutor nurse students who are moving to Finland. I am a patient, kind and positive teacher. I believe in teaching things that you will actually be able to use in your life. I will help you with topics that you want to learn, and teach you both grammar and vocabulary in a balanced way. When it comes to Finnish, I can teach you both spoken and written Finnish, and we can even dabble in some slang that people use in daily conversations in the capital region. I believe that everyone learns differently. Together we will create a suitable way of learning for you.
