Just finished my second lesson with Shirley and it was very useful. Her deep knowledge of grammar is so helpful in understanding the actual usage of Chinese words, which are so nuanced. Looking forward to my next lesson!

I studied Chinese in college and lived there for a few years after, so I have quite a lot of language exposure and experience but am extremely rusty. Shirley assessed my language abilities and placed me at a level that is appropriately challenging. Her lessons are well structured, her demeanor is very welcoming and supportive, and her approach is very methodical. She's a good fit for serious learners—feeling like my language skills are in good hands!

Another great class with Shirley laoshi! She picked a really interesting topic for us to discuss and sent it in advance, which makes mentally preparing for a lesson much nicer. She also sent the slides in advance, which I (as a preparer) really appreciate. My language skills really thrive with this kind of structure!
