Hey there! I’m Toyosi, a conversational English tutor with 6 years of experience helping students speak confidently. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, I’m a native English and Yoruba speaker—plus, I’m learning Spanish and French (so I totally get the language-learning struggle!). I can personally say that it is never easy to learn a new language, and sometimes it feels like you're in a state of utter confusion, but I can also say that it gets better. As a teacher my main aim is to make my students transition from a stage of difficulty to ease. Toyosi is a very friendly and talkative teacher. The conversation goes easy and fluid and you feel like speaking to a friend from the first moment, and that´s cool.

She payed attention to what I said, asked me good questions and corrected/helped me when I got into trouble. Provided accurate feedback, had interesting stuff to say and kept the conversation going. I definitely recommend her!
