I am a very patient and easy-going teacher. In my class mistakes are very welcomed because only through them, we can learn in life. I adapt my teaching to the student because everyone is unique, the learner has his own tempo and there are different types of learners like auditive, visual and kinesthetic ones. First, I want to know the student better, what he likes and then I will design the perfect lesson for him or her where boredom will be just an old memory.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
Grammar is important but it is not the goal of a lesson, the goal is that you can speak German, grammar must help you to master that. I work with “Redewendungen”, these are chunks that allow you to be fluent and speak like a native speaker. Learning grammar is a cognitive process, Redewendungen belong to a metacognitive process, I mean that you will learn to use them without thinking about them, it will happen automatically. All the aspects or learning a language are present in my class: reading, writing, hearing, speaking, pronunciation, melody in a sentence, intonation. You will decide what kind of lesson you are going to have, learning a language must be fun.Mijn lesmateriaal

Bachelor’s - DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen)I have studied music (piano and composition) and I work as a composer writing music for movies, video games and theater plays. Languages were also my passion, I have been teaching German since many years and my students were always happy with my methods. I thought I just needed a title to look more qualified and that's why I worked hard to get this certificate give to me by the Goethe Institute, the most accredited institution for German language. Teaching is my job and passion.

As I have taken more lessons with Luca, I wanted to highlight one thing I particularly appreciate about his teaching: While his lessons are conversation-driven, forcing me to practice in real-world situations, he also always takes the time to pause and explain a concept or word I don't understand. I make a lot of mistakes, as a relatively beginner student, so I am very grateful for that combination of speaking practice and reiterating grammar and vocabulary.
