I am not a morning person, but waking up to align time zones to chat with Liz is something I gladly throw myself out of bed for every week. I always appreciate Liz's glossary at the end of each class so that we can focus more on the discussion instead of pausing to write down the correct jyut ping or characters. Liz pinpoints my specific struggles in learning Cantonese and challenges me to overcome them. I also love our conversations because I'm able to practice discussing my interests, hobbies and general life just as I would do with a good friend. Always looking forward to the next lesson Liz!

This was a fun, useful lesson! For an absolute beginner, it was useful to go through the tones and some of the linguistics surrounding the language. Had a great lesson today with Liz, she made the lesson fun and patiently helped me when i was struggling and helped me understand where i was making mistakes

Once again, リズ先生 was very patient and helpful, and made sure to correct any mistakes I made. Today, we focused on pitch accent and how to be polite vs casual. Liz is very motivating, and makes sure to give constructive feedback as well as necessary praise. She is making the difficult journey into learning a new language painless and easy. ありがとう！<3

I've just completed a block of 5 jyutping classes with Liz and will definitely be booking more. Her lessons are well planned and delivered in a friendly, energetic way with clear explanations. She creates a safe space to make mistakes, patiently helps you get it right and is encouraging with every step you take. I'm looking forward to learning more Cantonese with her help.
