It was a lesson for my son. He was nervous about his first English lesson with a native speaker. Teacher Jake created an atmosphere which he felt comfortable, and my son's nervousness immediately eased. He kindly and friendly lead the conversation at my son's pace. He spoke in clearly pronounced easy-to-understand English so that my son could catch what the teacher was saying and understand. I highly recommend Jake.

This guy is the best english teacher I've ever had, by far. His unique blend of humor and teaching skills make the entire learning experience enjoyable and effective. This was my second practice session just before the actual business presentation. I received feedback on minor grammar corrections to my script, which helped me to create a more professional presentation that I wouldn't be embarrassed to be heared from a native speaker. During the QA practice, I was advised to phrase my answers more positively. I'm not very good at constructing English sentences on the spot, but this wasn't just an English lesson; I received accurate advice for my presentation. I often get stuck in conversations, so I'd like to take another lesson to improve my answering skill.
