I am a patient tutor who wants to help you improve your speaking skills through informal conversation.
My goal is to give you the tools to express yourself more naturally and get you more comfortable with day-to-day colloquial Quebec French.
These conversation lessons are suitable for people who want to focus on their speaking and listening skills. I do like to send complementary informative resources in-between lessons.Ik als leerkracht
One of my top priorities is to make you feel comfortable and give you the space you need to express yourself and ask questions.
These lessons are a safe space for you to practice and learn. I am striving to adapt myself to you as much as possible, so I always appreciate feedback to better meet your needs.

I try to bring interesting topics to the conversation by sending you resources such as videos, podcasts, articles, and content recommendations in French that you can take a look at in-between lessons.
This content often has to do with life in Quebec, current events and Quebec French, but overall I just like to share interesting content in your target language that you can utilize to expand your vocabulary and reinforce grammatical concepts. I encourage you to use this material as an opportunity to ask me as many questions as you'd like during the following lesson.Mijn lesmateriaal

Rox is such a great tutor, she is so personable and easy to talk with. She speaks several languages so she really understands the challanges of language acquisition and how to overcome them. I love that she's able to help me especially with Quebecois terms and expressions. We have such interesting chats and the lessons go by so quickly!

Rox was an amazing teacher. She was very encouraging and thorough in her teaching, making sure to address all of my needs. Her approach made the lesson clear and easy to understand, and she gave me the confidence to keep improving.
