My name's Julie, I'm a native English speaker from England. I love visiting different countries and learning about other cultures. I've enjoyed many years of travelling and teaching all over the world. I've helped to teach English to young students and adults in China, Senegal, Argentina and Morocco. I'm a patient and understanding teacher. I know the best way to become fluent is to practice speaking regularly. However I'm a language student myself, so I also know that speaking is often the hardest and scariest part of learning a foreign language. So whatever your goals are I want to help you achieve them in a relaxed environment, and feel just like you're chatting to a friend. Please don't be afraid to make mistakes, I'm here to help you learn from them. I can explain why a sentence is incorrect and we can practice examples of correct sentences together. My lessons are focused on improving your conversation skills, so my goal is always to get you to do most of the speaking. I will ask you questions and guide the conversation along but I want you to speak as much as possible. During our talks I will correct your grammar mistakes and any pronunciation errors when I need to, but I may not want to interrupt you too much at first. If you already feel confident with your English, we can work more on your accuracy and reducing your accent. We can discuss any topics that interest you or work on any specific learning goals you may have such as preparing for a job interview or an exam.Mijn lesmateriaal

I have been with Julie for a long time, she is my best teacher. Every class is so helpful and useful, and every time we discuss interesting topics, Julie is always willing to help if there is anything I can't say. I have great confidence in my English and feel that my level is improving.

The best part of every lesson with Julie is her corrections. I can work on everything I was mistaken, and ask her to explain it in the next lesson. Julie writes down every mistake while having a natural conversation - it's amazing! Thank you!

Teacher Julie’s conversation classes is with good atmosphere and suitable speed for students. Teacher will lead the conversation when students don’t know what to say, but also give time for students to talk.
