¡Hola! I'm a Spanish teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina, dedicated to making language learning engaging and fun for students of all ages and levels. I aim to break down the myth that learning a new language is boring and requires endless grammar lessons.
My evidence-based approach makes learning Spanish natural and fun with interactive stories (TPRS®) and Comprehensible Input.
I also dive into Hispanic culture, which is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I love sharing my world with my students and getting to know about theirs as well!
I'm an LGBT+ advocate and my classroom is a safe space for everyone.

I help you acquire Spanish through engaging stories and games – and not through repetitive grammar exercises. My students say that learning Spanish with me helps them better communicate with native speakers and understand Latin American culture. I have been working with Agustina for several months and I can't say enough good things about her. She is a patient, thoughtful and creative teacher who makes learning Spanish fun and low-stress. Agustina's approach is based on comprehensible input, and aligns perfectly with Dreaming Spanish. I have seen significant improvements during my time working with Agustina and highly recommend her as a teacher.

Really recommend Agustina highly!! She uses a comprehensible input/TPRS approach which is such a great way to learn this wonderful language. Also, a great teacher and super friendly. Definitely sign up for some lessons, you will be very glad you did and your language journey will seriously benefit!

J’ai fait plusieurs cours avec Agustina. Elle a son propre style et utilise le TPRS, elle est une des meilleures. Elle a toujours une activité de préparée à chaque cours. La discussion est très facile avec Agustina, elle est très cultivée et peut parler de plusieurs sujets.
Sa plus grande force est qu’elle est très douée pour vous faire parler. Si vous cherchez une bonne pratique de l’espagnole, je vous la recommande. Elle apprend également le français.

Today I had another fun hour with Agustina, immersed in the language and Argentine culture. I learned the word "carpincho". Agustina's classes are as chill as a carpincho. Her no-correction classes make for a very fun atmosphere to enjoy language learning. She always comes prepared with new materials appropriate for my language level, that explore both the human and animalistic side of Argentina. It's a wonderful hour of Spanish immersion and conversation.

I've had 50 lessons on Italki and all were with Agustina. There's value in finding a good and kind person where you can be comfortable overcoming the fear of making mistakes. But it also motivates you more finding a tutor or teacher who can see and encourage your progress. Whatever this language learning journey may be for me, I'm happy I lucked upon Agustina so quickly. I don't want her to get too popular and push me out of her schedule just yet, but she's a great teacher and deserves it!
