Hiromi

ひろみ先生、いつもありがとうございます。 Having lessons with Hiromi-sensei is like catching up with a very patient friend who just happens to be qualified and extremely competent in teaching Japanese. Our conversations are fun, but she is always prepared for our lessons and accommodates my learning requests. When I first started taking lessons, our lessons had a lot of English since I couldn't understand a lot of Japanese. Now our lessons are almost entirely (if not completely) in Japanese!

Classes with Hiromi sensei are always amazing. Reflecting back, I really noticed a huge improvement in my speaking and listening abilities. Thanks to her patient and interesting lessons, I am now able to fully understand simple Japanese lessons even when they are conducted entirely in Japanese and reply with reasonable speed too. I still make mistakes but can reasonably express my meaning. Looking forward to another year of progress! 今年もよろしくお願いします！

Had my first lesson with Hiromi and it was great! She was very friendly and encouraging! I went into the class as a beginner with minimal speaking experience and Hiromi先生 was very patient with assessing my level. The lesson was also structured which made it very easy to follow and explained anything I don't understand along the way. When I made mistakes, instead of giving the answers straight away, Hiromi先生 gave out advice and encouraged me with no judgement to try and see if I can pick out my own mistakes, which is a great way to reinforce your learning. ありがとうございます先生！

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the effort you put into our lessons. I truly appreciate how focused and attentive you are to my individual needs, and it means so much that you take the time to make each lesson special. Hiromi先生 helped me revise through the later chapters of the textbook I've been using to study and helping me reinforce my knowledge and fill in any gaps I was not too sure about. Another good lesson as usual!
