Laurie Fourniaudou

I had a really good first lesson with Laurie. The conversation flowed easily and the time flew by. Having not used my French for a while, it was good to explore how much I could remember in a safe and supportive environment. Laurie was great at helping out where necessary but allowing me to have a go at constructing sentences and using my vocabulary, for which I am very grateful. Merci beaucoup Laurie et à bientôt !

Laurie is a fabulous French teacher, full of skills and ideas. She doesn't just convey her native language but has a true passion for French and I'm thoroughly looking forward to lots of new insights during the course. My first lesson was interactive and very pleasant. Laurie creates a relaxed atmosphere, is fully committed to the lesson and I really enjoyed chatting about different topics. Another great lesson with Laurie. We spent the whole time talking about one subject which I found really useful, as it gave me lots of opportunity to practice listening and speaking about a complicated subject. It was a really authentic conversation, digging into the detail, learning new vocabulary and really testing my ability to construct an argument and explain my thoughts on the subject. Un grand merci Laurie, et à bientôt !

I highly recommend! Laurie is organized and serious about the French language. She is easy to understand, listens carefully, and gives plenty of time for the student to participate. After introductions, we moved on to discussing a variety of interesting topics, and made a plan for future classes.
