I’m Edison, born and raised in the Philippines. I hold a business degree and a TEFL certification, and I work as a geospatial analyst. After four years in the corporate world, I moved to Europe to teach—first as an English assistant in Madrid, then privately—and later lived in the Czech Republic and Lithuania. I’m a multilingual learner: self‑studied French & Spanish; conversational Italian & Portuguese; travel‑ready Russian & Czech; and now tackling Indonesian. Another great lesson with Miguel! We had some casual conversation in Tagalog about how our days had gone, what we did for Easter, and about current events. We then did a roleplaying exercise in Tagalog where I pretended to be a passenger on a jeepney, and then we also did an exercise where I described in Tagalog what was happening in a short little comic/cartoon. Maraming salamat!
