Hello, my name's Alex and I'm a Professional Teacher here on italki!
I'm a TEFL qualified teacher, and I've been teaching English in South East Asia for over 5 years.
I specialise in Conversational English for Adults and Teenagers, and English for Kids.

My Conversational English classes for Adults and Teenagers are casual. I provide discussion topics for each lesson, and help students build on their English skills by correcting their grammatical and pronunciation errors. These classes also assist students to improve their vocabulary, fluency and general knowledge of English.
My English for Kids classes are fun and engaging. I create positive lessons to keep children entertained, so that they pay attention whilst learning! I like to use flashcards and games to make sure that young learners are enjoying the lesson. If children are engaged, it means they are learning!Certificaten

Alex is a really good teacher: he is patient, competent and friendly, and he always makes me feel at ease. he is helping me a lot with speaking and pronunciation. the lessons are varied and enjoyable and this increases my ability to feel comfortable talking about different topics.

The lesson with Alex was fun! We got to swap some great life stories which made the whole experience really engaging. I loved how the lesson felt like chatting with a friend, which made learning way more enjoyable. Totally recommend if you’re looking to boost your English skills in a cool, laid-back way.
