Kia ora! I’m a Kiwi tutor with a passion for sharing New Zealand English and culture. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or simply have a love for linguistics, I’d love to help you with your conversation skills in a relaxed and engaging way. My teaching style is conversational and tailored to your interests, ensuring each lesson feels both personal and productive. In my spare time, I’m constantly learning about new cultures and languages, which fuels my enthusiasm for connecting with people from all over the world

I participate in language exchanges where I conversate in English with other people who are trying to learn the language so I have experience teaching new phrases and words in English and correcting mistakes when required. I speak with a New Zealand accent and vocabulary so I can teach you words that will be useful if you want to come to live in New Zealand.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

My lessons will be casual and focus heavily on speaking, as I think this is the best way for students to learn a language and use our time together effectively. Therefore students should be able to have a basic understanding of english already. I can explain simple grammatical concepts but the majority of our lessons should be focused on coversation.

Classes with Teacher Catherine have been so worthwhile! She has an amazing way to make the class interesting and fun. It's also very comfortable to have a casual conversation practice with her. Highly recommending her to those who would like to improve their conversation skill.
