Elinor is a great teacher! She strikes the right balance, very difficult to achieve, between being supportive & encouraging, on one hand, but also demanding and expecting you to achieve, on the other. Thanks to her materials available online (her podcast and her modules on her website, speakinghebrew.com) I feel like I am on a learning journey with her. The in-person lessons are the checkpoints where we practice what I learn via the online materials, and Elinor always adds an extra layer of nuance to the online materials that immensely improve my understanding and make the in-person lessons essential. She makse me feel that I am learning the "real" spoken Hebrew, alive, and not some ossified version of it which only lives in a textbook. I love how the clearly articulates sounds and syllables, that is a gift not everyone has, and again it is immensely helpful.

It's an absolutely fantastic experience to be taught by Eli. She is very attentive to the goals and needs that I have. She understands that "we are not all alike"... I like the way she speaks Hebrew especially because she is so clear in her pronunciation that it allows me to understand most of it, even though many words are still unfamiliar to me and she speaks as rapidly as if she were talking to a native speaker. Whether you're a beginner or somewhat advanced, she is the best!

I've had many lessons with Elinor and her teaching is very methodical. She has a good method to remember the conjugations. but what is important is practice practice practice! I am advancing my Hebrew with Elinor and am very happy with the lessons.

Elinor is an amazing teacher! She cares deeply and teaches with passion. She is also a great ambassador to the culture, which is a very key component in successful language learning!!
