I am Alessandro, I am Italian mother tongue teacher! I have got a certificate as " Teacher of Italian Language for foreigners" and a second degree in languages.
I live in Reggio Calabria in southern Italy and I have been teaching Italian to foreigners since 2014.Ik als leerkracht
I prepare my lessons based on the needs and goals of my students. I strive in order to make my lessons a pleasant time for my students and a window through which they can visit Italy for one hour.
Lessons will be divided into different categories: conversation, grammar, listening lessons, movie watching lessons, cultural topics and writing lessons.
I will provide you with all learning materials and notes about each lesson so you can track your progress and have easy access to everything we have studied so far.
I teach students of all levels, from A1 until C1. I also prepare students for international exams such as PLIDA and CILS. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
In the first lesson, I always like to know the goals and aims of my students, in order to work together in reaching them and in order to prepare a specific and individual program for each of my students!!
My students say that my lessons are enjoyable, because we do not just discuss language and grammar, but also cultural topics and curiosities. In the lessons the student will also watch movies and listen to songs in order to practice what he/she has learnt.
With beginner students I will concentrate on daily functional situations and realistic conversations (restaurant, train station etc) so they can be totally independent and use what they have learnt in a practical and realistic way.Mijn lesmateriaal

Once again it was an absolute pleasure to have a lesson from Alessandro. He is truly an excellent teacher capable to fit each lesson to my interest and needs. Each time i notice the progress i'm making which are a direct result from the motivating lessons. Wished i had such teachers when i was young. I'm already looking forward to my next lesson.

Alessandro was fantastic! We did a trial lesson and he was able to put together a lesson plan tailored specifically to my needs. Very easy to talk to and learn from whether you are a beginner or intermediate or advanced, I highly recommend Alessandro!!!

This was by far the best lesson. Alessandro did an overall review of all the verb conjugations and it was extremely helpful. Been taking lessons with him for over 5 years and it's been so much fun learning Italian with Alessandro. Thank you Alessandro

Alessandro is incredibly patient and goes the extra mile to help me learn what today seems like complex grammar but soon will be second nature. He groups and organizes word patterns and rules to make it easier to remember grammar rules, exceptions and nuances. He is always encouraging. You cannot ask for more in a teacher and coach.
