Lolo’s classes are never the same — each one is unique, and that’s what makes him such a special teacher. The best way to describe what he does is “haitian creole and haitian culture classes,” because he knows that you can’t learn a language without learning about the culture behind it. I interact with Haitian people every week, so speaking kreyòl is a important for me. Lolo has been a huge help since he teaches the real kreyòl people actually use. I can say he’s improved both my kreyòl and my quality of life by helping me connect better with the haitian community in my country.
