With 5 years of teaching experience and a background in hospitality and aviation, I love helping people feel confident speaking real Japanese.
🌼 I worked in bars, cafés, and guesthouses in Osaka for over 4 years, then at an airline company after university.
Now I run my own business in Tokyo.
I’ve met people from all over the world — so I understand how challenging (and exciting!) learning a new language can be.

Signed up for the 10 weeks program so I can strengthen my foundation in grammar structure and Hana Sensei’s slides have been so helpful! She also added extra examples to make sure I understand and that helps a lot in my daily revision too. Looking forward to the next classes :) 教えてくれてありがとうございます😊

Hana is an exceptional teacher who quickly puts you at ease and is extremely attentive to making the lessons engaging. I learn new vocabulary every time I have a lesson with her.
After over 2 years of taking classes with Hana, not only have I improved my Japanese proficiency and gained confidence in speaking, but we have also developed a strong friendship. Now, every lesson feels like catching up with a friend in a Tokyo café.
I cannot recommend her teaching enough!

Great lesson with Hana-san! She is very laid back and easy to talk to. She helps guide me to the correct way of saying things while keeping the conversation going. Looking forward to the next lesson :)

In my 5th lesson with Hana, I noticed a big improvement in both my ability and willingness to express myself in Japanese, even though speaking is still very difficult for me. Compared to the previous lesson, I felt much more willing to try even though I couldn't always complete my thoughts or didn't always know the perfect words to use. Her encouragement about my growth gave me a lot of motivation. I know I still have a long way to go and need to improve my vocabulary so that I can communicate better, but this lesson made me feel that I am genuinely making progress.
