Hello! I’m Jyoti. I was born in Uttarakhand and raised in Delhi, which has given me a neutral Hindi accent. Since 2004, I have been living in Chandigarh, a city I am proud to call home.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical, and after graduating, my passion for teaching led me to become a private tutor-a role I absolutely adore!
Languages fascinate me, and one of my favourite pastimes is exploring music from around the world. There’s something utterly enchanting about how songs in different languages can transport you to new worlds and offer fresh perspectives on life.Ik als leerkracht
I believe teaching should be fun and interactive. I share the structure, techniques, and needful resources and give language learners tips and advice to learn the language in a better way. I like to create effective, interactive, and structured lessons for my students depending on their needs.
I've had experience tutoring students of all different ages, including students in kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school, as well as working adults, so I can tailor my class material and assignments to your needs and goals.

I am very flexible with my teaching. I think students learn the best when they get the chance to talk about something they enjoy. I will be happy to plan lessons for topics that interest you. I am also happy to focus on a particular skill or objective, like passing an exam or traveling to India.
After assessing your level of Hindi, I will help you to improve by correcting mistakes whenever required.

In my lesson today Jyoti was helping me understand Hindi spoken at natural speed. It was really useful and has given me something to focus on between now and my next lesson. There's so much variety in Jyoti's lessons - always something new and interesting. I highly recommend her as a Hindi teacher!

Jyoti always makes classes fun. Before the start of the lesson, I had a lot on my mind. But after a brief catch-up chat, I forgot my problems and concentrated on the class. We talked about films, and then I did some reading. Everything I said was in Hindi, and the time flew by. I have improved a lot in one year.
