Hello! I'm Vito and from Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. My native language is Chinese, I also speak English. I am a certified Chinese teacher. I graduated from Zhejiang Normal University in 2010 and later obtained the CTCSOL (Certificate for Teacher of Chinese to Speakers of Other Language) qualification. I have a wide range of hobbies, such as traveling, hiking, cycling, cooking, watching movies, and more. I have been teaching Chinese here for over five years and will continue to do so in the future. So far, I have had 75 lessons for conversation practice with Vito Chen. He is an excellent teacher and is an expert at asking questions to keep the conversation going. In every lesson I learn new vocabulary and review grammar structures, too. Although he is serious about teaching, his style is light-hearted, easy going and friendly. I really appreciate that about him. Because he is so easy to talk to and I feel like I'm always learning, I enjoy every lesson. 非常谢谢陈老师！

Vito is fun and likable, with great teaching skills. He tailors the lessons to my son's level; he is engaging, and understanding, and he covers a lot of different topics. Did I mention that Vito's punctuality is AMAZING? I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn Mandarin!

Vito is one of the best Mandarin teachers I've ever had. He is patient, and adapts the lesson to my level. For concepts I'm already familiar with we breeze through, but when I need more detailed explanations he's always capable of breaking things down into more manageable parts.

Every week I really look forward to my lesson with Vito. It's always enjoyable and he makes sure to work previous vocabulary and grammatical structures into our lesson topics while adding new vocabulary or grammar each week as well. He is always patient and supportive and I was able to learn enough Mandarin to be able to visit Beijing this summer and navigate the city on my own. It was an amazing experience!

Vito is an excellent teacher. I could not recommend him enough. During his classes he is patient, kind and very professional. He leads the conversations and always writes the words that I don’t understand or struggle with in the chat. This helps me refer to them later. Sometimes I find that learning a language can be difficult and embarrassing but he makes you feel comfortable and encouraged. His English is also superb so when I don’t know a word, he will be able to support but encourages you to speak Chinese at all times. 11/10 teacher
