I am a native Japanese speaker with good English comprehension so I can easily understand your questions and explain anything you need to know.
I lived in New York for a year and a half and I have been traveling between Japan and the US twice a year since 2009 for my fashion company.
Currently I'm studying economics at the university.
Some things that I like to do are;
Tending the plants and flowers in my garden, working out at the gym, watching LIVE basketball and baseball games. I aIso love dogs! (I follow cute dog accounts on Instagram.)

As a community tutor, I can help you to improve your vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. I can also give you tips and examples of how to speak more naturally.
I am very supportive and I can help you to become a great Japanese speaker with my patient and easy-going personality :)
I grew up in Fukuoka and I have been trained in professional speaking and pronunciation at my job at the information service center in the airport so I can teach you Hyojyungo (Tokyo dialect). I can also teach Hakata dialect which is spoken here in Fukuoka. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

For a beginner level English speaker, we can use online lesson materials based on your needs. We can also do basic role playing exercises together.
If your Japanese level is intermediate or higher, I recommend having conversations without the use of a textbook and making note of corrections. We can review them during our next class.
If we are interested in some of the same movies or shows (Terrace House!), we can watch them before the lesson and then talk about it.

Sachie sensei was very friendly, relaxed, and easy to talk to. She was matching my current level with her speech rate and was happy to repeat the things I didn’t understand. I definitely learned some new things and felt that I improved my understanding of the language.

Sa-chan has such a nice personality and is so fun to talk to that I end up talking about so many things and forget I'm still learning the language.. But she's very patient so I don't shy away from making mistakes or long blanks. I end up learning any unknown words anyway since she provides context-rich sentence notes after each lesson

I really enjoy Sachie先生’s organic approach of teaching. We jump-started into listening and speaking practice even when I barely knew any vocabulary. She believed in me even before I believed in myself. She accepts my current status while still challenges me to try and make my own sentences. We talked about things in real life so that the vocabulary and expression can be ingrained in my brain. 3 months ago I could not have imagined how much I progressed from scratch. Learning from her is a very good investment and super motivating.
