Having been born and raised in Germany within a family of Turkish origin, I have had the privilege of acquiring fluency in both languages at a native level. Currently, I am pursuing my studies in Medicine, conducted entirely in English. I am currently a Research fellow at BWH, Harvard University Medical School.During my academic journey, I successfully completed my preparatory school at the university, achieving an outstanding score of 90 points.In summary, I am driven by a genuine curiosity about the world and a sincere desire to contribute positively to society through my medical and language expertise and intercultural experiences!Ik als leerkracht

I was very nervous at first, but Dr. Merve was very friendly. And even though my understanding was slow, she never rushed me and waited patiently. She gave a very enjoyable and effective lesson. I am very motivated to learn German after the lesson. She is definitely the best teacher.

Dr. Merve Sahin is absolutely wonderful to learn from. She was very patient with me and super cheerful. I took German in college but that was over 20 years ago. I remember some words but not very many. Dr. Merve started speaking in German slowly for me and translated the English into German so I could understand what she was saying. This put me at ease and I was able to better listen and catch more of the German words. I do hope to get better with time and am very pleased with my decision to take a class from her.

Dr. Merve Sahin is such a fantastic teacher! We always have interesting conversations. Since we're both studying medicine, she has even helped me with some of my homework!
