Mónica Flórez

Mónica is an excellent tutor. She does not approach Spanish, even with a beginner such as myself, as a loose collection of words but as a reactive system that requires steady, thoughtful introduction. Her teaching style prioritizes engagement and I've found each of her presentations and homework assignments to be motivating and helpful. Mónica is knowledgeable and generous and I strongly recommend learning under her.

I learned many vocabulary describing house with rooms like kitchen, dining, living rooms etc. It is a lot of vocabulary but I think these are essentials for daily conversations. Monica is very organized and her explanations are always very clear.

I highly recommend Monica. She is very involved and enthusiastic about learning. Monica prepared the materials for my DELE testing. Now I am done with the test (for now), I would still like to continue learning from her. In the past, I studied in a Spanish language school in Colombia. They used her materials in the school. I was so excited to find her in italki. I have been happy taking classes with the teacher who actually made the materials.

I highly recommend Monica to other students. She is very organized and she prepares each lesson to cover my weakness. It is fun to see how much progress I have been making with Monica's classes.

Each class is well organized with her original materials. She can tell my weakness in Spanish learning and she prepares each lesson accordingly. My understanding on each topic with her is deeper than just studying by myself. Highly recommend her.
