Various methods of learning

Besides comprehensive review of homework, Valeria makes space for students like me to express their ideas, especially if they're difficult ones and require a lot of patience and guidance. I want to be able to talk about subjects of personal interest, and I don't always have the vocabulary to do so. After my lessons with her, I come away with more knowledge about new words and grammatical structures.

Besides the explanation, guidance, and inquiry, Valeria has given me deeper insight into Italian culture while she helps finds ways to connect trends in the U.S. to those in Italy. It all makes for interesting conversation and pushes me with my writing and grammar.
