Certified CELTA Language Teacher here to help with your Language Goals. Hello! My name is Naomi. I am an energetic, friendly and qualified native American teacher from Chicago, Illinois - USA. I have traveled and have lived in various parts of the world including South America, North Africa, the UK and Japan. I am currently living in Portugal. I love languages! I am CELTA certified with over 8 years experience teaching English to adults and children in the classroom and I really enjoy it. Currently, I am developing my Portuguese knowledge because I would like to became a licensed translator. So I understand the challenges people face when learning a new language. I am here to help you to overcome those fears. I hope to meet you in the class soon. **NOTE: Sorry, I do not teach students UNDER 10 years of age** I am CELTA certified with over 8 years experience teaching English to adults and children in the classroom and I really enjoy it. I work primarily with Beginner and Intermediate learners (A1 - B2+) but I am able to teach all learners. As a language learner myself (Portuguese), I know and understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language and am here to help. My lessons will be dynamic and entertaining, making sure students can keep up with the content I am teaching while enjoying the class. Most of my lessons focus on speaking, reading and listening. The classes are very organized and planned according to my demands. I was very shy to speak in English but I'm getting through this with Naomi's help.
