Styve is amazing. He is a fantastic teacher who skillfully moves students forward in their learning, to their desires. He was the one teacher I trialed with who asked me many questions about my goals, and then gave a full plan to get there, detailing what we would learn when and in what order. He has taken me from the absolute beginning stage of knowing zero French, not even the ABC's, and he has moved me forward to beginning comprehension and beginning grammatical understanding, all done with such positive spirit and continual encouragement. I know I will get to the place of speaking well with his teaching direction! Aside from all of that, he is fun to speak with! Thank you Styve for all you do and how well you do it! I highly recommend Styve to be your foreign language teacher.

Styve was absolutely lovely-very easy to understand and fascinating to discuss Cameroon with. The only issue I'd highlight which is in no way his fault is that there were some technical troubles at the start but once we got going, it was a pleasure.

Styve is the teacher to go for your TEF/TCF exams. He knows exactly how to help students make progress and does it effortlessly! He has lots of good tips for preparing the exams and gives me a lot of encouragement to talk more confidently. We naturally discuss some of the difficult TCF oral questions with interesting arguments. Looking forward to continuing French for fun!

Today was the first lesson, so we just got to know each other and talked about my goals. I was surprised that I was able to mostly get through the lesson in French. Looking forward to studying with Styve over the course of the next month.
