Hi! I'm Tomek. I am a native Polish speaker and will do everything in my power to help you learn this beautiful language with as little effort and as much progress as possible. Language learning is my passion and I believe it can be a fun and engaging process if you approach it correctly. I am proficient in English, and right now I'm studying Japanese, so I understand your struggles and have my own methods of overcoming them. I also used to study Spanish and French. My other hobbies are cinematography, playing and listening to music, writing, philosophy, and travel. I love to meet new people and learn their stories, so you can think of me not only as your teacher, but also as your friend. I am an open and considerate teacher. I try to tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs. Since I have extensive experience in learning different languages from scratch myself, I try to incorporate the methods I believe work best. As a psychology student, I also apply contemporary psychology knowledge from the fields of memory and cognition. My lessons are based on conversation practice, which is the most natural way of learning a language. I select topics that interest you to help you open up and get comfortable with vocabulary you will actually use. You can just relax and enjoy. Even if you make a lot of mistakes, with each one you learn something new. I hope to see you soon!
