I have been learning Ancient Greek for about 4 months with Sofia. She has been very helpful with my Exam preparation, and is currently helping me to revise all of my Greek in this book that my University has provided. Everytime I learn from her she makes it so much fun and makes me feel very comfortable which makes it more easier for me to improve my proficiency with my pronunciation and reading ability. I recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Ancient Greek!

I’ve been doing lessons with Sofia since March 2024. Sofia is incredibly patient and caring while I’ve been learning Greek. Sofia and I have bonded over our Greek upbringings and had many laughs while storytelling. Sofia provides me with the necessary materials and resources in order to improve my Greek on a weekly basis. Sofia is a gem of a teacher! I am genuinely so excited to have lessons with her each week! I am speaking so much more Greek as a result. With many mistakes, of course, but always corrected with a smile! My goal is to banish my shyness in speaking and be able to speak more to my great aunt in Athens when we visit her for Easter holidays. Sofia is absolutely helping me with this!

I have had many Greek teachers throughout my life and Sofia is THE BEST! She's knowledgable, engaging, and kind. Our lessons are a good mix of theoretical and practical- a lot of conversation as well as exercises/book material. She hones in on where my knowledge gaps are and everything we do feels purposeful, not just working through a book to complete every page. Greek lessons with Sofia are also a lot of fun, and I always look forward to it!
