Ricardo is a legend, thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with him. He's super easy going yet very on task at the same time. Would 1000% recommend him to anyone looking to not only improve their Portuguese, but talk with a really cool dude.

Ricardo opened many interesting avenues of conversation and unobtrusively corrected errors I made by repeating a mispoken word correctly or by placing the correct word in the chat box. He was attentive to both the flow of conversation and to my usage issues.

Really lovely class with Ricardo! He carefully walked me through a text I had been working on writing -- a specialized text for an academic talk I have to give in Portuguese. In addition to to helping with the specific translation, he also used the lesson as an opportunity to talk about general rules of grammar and made really excellent stylistic suggestions. The result was a text that was not only a better translation, but also a better talk in general!
