Bonjour à tous ! Hallo iedereen!
Being born in Belgium, I grew up in a multilingual (French/Dutch) context. Early on at school I already discovered my interest in language and culture which grew out to a passion for language, food and travel. I am now living abroad, teaching online classes.Ik als leerkracht
I've been a teacher for 10 years now. I gathered my theoretical knowledge during my academic education (Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature French/Spanish). However, it is mostly my practical experience which allows me to provide practical and hands-on tutoring (Specific Teacher Training in Languages and 10 years of experience as a teacher).

The most attractive quality of (online) tutoring is the fact that I can teach goal oriented, in function of the specific needs of the student. I offer interactive lessons. Based on my experience with students of different ages and different levels of language proficiency, I'm able to offer a variety of exercises in different aspects of the language skills: oral, written (both active and passive). I use a wide range of authentic resources (audio/video/texts) to encourage your participation and progression. Excellent teacher with so much experience. Nathalie always provides interesting and effective exercises for me to practice my Dutch. Highly recommended for those who want to seriously improve their language skills.

Nathalie has been tutoring my child for almost 3 years. She gradually speaks only French in the lessons.
She looks at current issues/events as study topics which helps with the pupil understand better about news sources whilst learning the language.
The hard work that both parties have put in resulted in the pupil being awarded an academic scholarship to an independent school in the UK.
