I had a great second lesson with Chuan! After an interesting conversation about school in the US vs. China, we learned vocabulary related to travel and airports. The material she uses is organized very nicely, and I enjoy learning and reviewing with it. The dialogues with characters, pinyin, and English translation are especially helpful, because then I can learn the words and grammar in context. I look forward to the next lesson!

We had a very good class this week. We talked about how children go camping and what games they play in the US and in parts of China. I learned a lot of new vocabulary that I can go back to in the chat later to study. Chuan is always interesting and patient and iTalki has worked super well for my hobby of studying Chinese.

Amazing teacher! She matches the pace of conversation so you do not feel rushed. She brings different topics to the table such that every lesson is different

I've had classes with Chloe every week for the past couple of months. My confidence and understanding of Mandarin and chinese culture has improved a lot :) Thanks Chloe, looking forward to next time!

Chuan LaoShi is extremely professional. She has been teaching me for about three years. Each class period I get a list of characters and sentences to review with all the characters and the pinyin. Chuan LaoShi is very patient. We spend about half the class time with me telling stories. As I talk, she helps with vocabulary and sentence structure and records what I can review later. The other half of the class she will tell interesting stories of life/traditions/food/pop culture in China using language that is at my level or just beyond it. I appreciate having the visual clues of seeing her live during class instead of just reading and translating written materials.. Chuan LaoShi is a great teacher. italki works very well for my lifestyle.

Chuan is an excellent teacher. She has been my teacher for at least three years. She is always extremely professional in every way. She puts up with my awful pronunciation and only offers suggestions for improvements. She tells interesting stories/anecdotes at a level I can understand. She is always friendly and helpful.
