Vanessa

Vanessa is the best German tutor I've had the pleasure of working with. Her lessons are packed with different topics and exercises all while being informal enough to where I feel comfortable practicing. She's also very open to suggestions, so if there is ever a topic I come across while studying German on my own that I would like further explanation on or practice with, Vanessa is more than accommodating. She has my highest recommendation for anyone seriously trying to better their German.

Today's lesson was helpful. Vanessa is patient and explains the grammar thoroughly, always a pleasure to take classes with her.

Vanessa is friendly, chatty, and a clear speaker without ever talking down to you -- a great conversation partner for getting my dormant intermediate comprehension and speaking skills warmed up for a trip to Germany! She was very responsive to my requests and took notes on vocabulary I was practicing. I feel better prepared because of her. Recommended!

I have been taking lessons with Vanessa for about a year and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient and does and excellent job explaining the often difficult grammar and vocabulary structures within German. Everything discussed in the lesson in written in Google Docs which is useful for review after the class. Furthermore her positive and friendly attitude creates an atmosphere which makes learning comfortable without feeling embarrassment for making mistakes. Anyone considering signing up for a lesson with Vanessa should definitely not hesitate in doing so.

Vanessa was wonderful. She was very well spoken. She did not speak “above my head” and was great at making corrections in my speaking without making me feel dumb. She kept the conversation engaging and interesting. I will absolutely be booking again with her in the future.
