Welcome to my profile.
If I could use some words to define my personality and profile I would most definitely say:
- Energetic - Creative - Honest - Funny - Hardworking- Determined - Passionate - Helpful
These words represent who I am, personally and professionally. I love to travel, get to know people's stories, and share mine. But most of all, I like to be part of people´s journeys and paths. I have been working and traveling for the past 8 years, and if there is something I must confess is that nothing is better than having a significant impact on others. As a teacher and a student who learned English as a second language, I know the journey can be rough sometimes and very methodical, with that said, I like to learn a little about my student's interests and styles to adapt and turn the learning process as easy and familiar as possible. I truly believe that we can have lots of fun while studying and learning a different language. I tend to use as an asset my student's interest and likes as a guide to teach them what they as willing to learn.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
During classes and lessons, I like to mix the students interests with the current subject of study. I preferably tend to make it fun and interactive. Ice Breakers, games, flashcards, and Trivias are examples of my Teaching Style. During the learning process, I stand where there is no such thing as a mistake only great discoveries. I believe that less is more, especially for those who are still building their vocabulary base. Staying simple, fun, and interactive, helps the students to keep focus and be well on their way to mastering the language.Mijn lesmateriaal

First impressions matter, and my first impression with Gisele was the best possible. I was comfortable speaking with her since the first seconds of the lesson. She also gave me some great advice about the mistakes I made. Highly recommended if you truly want to reach the next level.

Gisele proves herself to be a truly outstanding Portuguese instructor with each passing class. I'm amazed at how quickly our hour-and-a-half-long lessons fly by - a testament to how fun and engaging she makes our meetings. This particular lesson touched on a wide variety of topics, from famous sites around Brazil to the peculiarities of Portuguese grammar to the benefits and drawbacks of technological advancement. All the while, Gisele was extraordinarily patient with me as I struggled through complex sentences and corrected my (many) errors with grace. I am so lucky to count myself among her students!
