My 5 years abroad (Philippines, Australia) and travels to 50+ countries mean I get accents, cultures, and the struggles of learning. In addition to my experience teaching on Italki, I taught Italian while I was living in
Melbourne. My students, from all over the worlds, have ranged from kids to working professionals and I can say that most of my students turned to become good friends too!
Due to my current job as an Export Area Manager for an international company, I
have traveled to many countries. My experiences in these countries have helped me to
have a calm and patient attitude when I’m teaching, because I understand just how

My lessons will be similar to a friendly conversation you might have with a friend or
coworker. I believe that to engage in easy dialogue is the best and quickest
ways to learn and improve your language skills. Throughout our lessons I will make
sure that you will always feel comfortable and relaxed, and hopefully we can even have
some fun!
Since I studied "Lettere Moderne" at Bologna University, I can also help you with any
grammar usage, and I am ready to address any individual language concerns you may
have. Currently, my students vary from first time beginners to fluent speakers.

Alessandro is an AMAZING Italian teacher! Every lesson I have with him is an absolute delight! Ale has a unique way of combining structured and thorough teaching with an easy-going, relaxed, patient style that makes you feel as though you are conversing with a friend. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with Alessandro. My confidence in speaking Italian is noticeably improving, and that’s largely because he creates such a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. He is patient, clear in his explanations, and always encourages me to speak, which makes each lesson both productive and enjoyable. Alessandro trova sempre spunti interessanti per alimentare la conversazione. Mi spiega vocaboli, grammatica e aspetti culturali. Sono lezioni con lui ma conversazioni interessanti durante le quali imparo molto.

È sempre facile e molto gradevole parlare con Alessandro. È sempre interessato da quello che dicono i suoi studenti e lui è molto interessante. Il tempo passa molto velocemente durante la lezione. Da consigli di lettura, spiega punti culturali o storici. Corregge gli errori che faccio, ma senza che sia pesante e mi impedisca di sviluppare il mio argomento.
