Welcome to my Italki teacher page! I'm Yoav, and I was born and raised in Israel. I'm currently living in Munich, Germany while finishing up my Master's in early modern German History. I love Philosophy, Literature (especially Russian!) and Cinema. While training to become a historian at Tel Aviv University, I fell in love with language learning as a way to enter dialogue with different cultures - past and present. I am also an amateur photographer and spend some of my free time translating Beat poetry from the 1950s'.Ik als leerkracht
I am very experienced in teaching Hebrew as a second language. For the last two years, I've been volunteering and teaching the elements of the language to immigrants and refugees living in Israel. I am, therefore, skilled in teaching the fundamentals while also focusing on communication skills and learning to use the language in everyday life.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
Because of my experience with students of various levels and backgrounds, I am very adaptable and try to resonate with the student's needs and abilities.
