Liliana is a great teacher, using an effective combination of conversation, gently correcting mistakes, and suggestions for further learning. She shapes her lessons to meet the student's needs and is flexible regarding the focus and goals of the lessons. She is very intelligent, and her Spanish is easily understandable. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough great things about Liliana! She's fantastic; super patient and helpful. She doesn't just give me the answers when I'm wrong or make a mistake, but will prompt me so that I can figure out my mistakes and errors - I love that! She is helping me to gain more and more confidence to speak & not be afraid of making mistakes! I enjoy and look forward to her class each week, we speak a lot and I'm learning and having fun at the same time! ❤️️

I’ve been working with Liliana for over a year and highly recommend her as a Spanish tutor. As someone who’s studied Spanish on and off for decades, it’s easy to feel stuck—you’ve learned a lot, but it doesn’t always come together when you speak. Working with Liliana has reawakened my interest, and I genuinely look forward to our sessions. She’s super flexible and adapts to what I want. If I wanted to study por y para for two months, she’d roll with it—but since I don’t 😄, we mix conversation with targeted grammar in a way that’s actually useful. She’s open-minded (we’ve covered everything from the subjunctive to niche topics I've requested, e.g. transgender soldiers in the Mexican Revolution), patient, funny, and gives honest, helpful feedback. I never feel self-conscious, and we laugh a lot while still learning. I’m much more motivated in my Spanish since starting with her—and that says a lot. Honestly, her rates don’t reflect how good she is—you’re getting a steal.
