Pretty awesome class! I really enjoyed the conversation and I feel like I already learned so many words. I will book more classes with her in the future.

First time using italki and I could not have been more satisfied! It was such a fun experience using a language I've been learning alone for months with someone who was fun to talk to and clearly worked hard to prepare for the lesson.

She was only letting me read with no explanation it was a waste of money and time

Very amazing! I went in with zero knowledge and came out already feeling like I have learned quite a bit! It was fast-paced and that worked well for me. There was an emphasis on pronunciation as well as plenty of examples provided so I understood what I was saying, how it was spelt, etc. Cansu also tailored the lessons towards my interests on top of helping me learn the basics, which was extremely nice!

The teacher starts off with a hard test, but maybe for Internet connection reasons it was not possible to hear her answers or to know if she was hearing mines without delay so we sometimes talked over each other and the replies I got were not always related to what I was asking. This may have been a technical issue, but if you wish to take a class with this teacher be prepared to be tested as the first thing- maybe it is ok with you, I felt very uncomfortable as we had not even exchanged a few sentences beforehand, and it was obvious after the first 15/20 minutes that we had gone above my level already. Maybe it is a good approach for people who enjoy being very challenged from the get go. I don’t learn well that way, I just feel lost but the teacher didn’t propose that we stop with the test and get on from there. I have never left a negative review before but it truly was an unpleasant experience
