Hello everyone, my name is Erkan, and I am a certified German teacher from Munich, Germany, with 50 years of life experience in the country. I have been teaching on italki for 6 years and hold a Business German certificate, supported by over 40 years of professional experience in the field. I am a native German speaker and also speak French and Italian, which helps me better understand the challenges learners face when studying a new language. My students have achieved outstanding results, including 110 B1 Goethe certificates, 50 B2 TELC/Goethe certificates, 30 C1 Goethe certificates, and even 1 C2 Goethe certificate, reflecting a structured and effective teaching approach. I work with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and fully focused on your individual progress. Lessons are primarily conversation-based, combined with targeted grammar and vocabulary work to help you communicate confidently and naturally in German. Mr. Erkan is a very professional teacher and familiar with the German exam criteria. He is knowledgeable and reliable. My german has significant improvement throughout these 3 months since I started the lessons with him.
