Gianluca is great! He speaks clearly; he explains things well; and he is a pleasure to talk with. Very helpful!

Another fantastic lesson with Gianluca! He is by far the best instructor that I have had here on Italki. He has created a google document that he makes notes on during each lesson so I can easily go back and review what we have discussed. He provides interesting assignments and reading materials, always targeted to whatever subject I'm currently working on . I highly recommend him!

Gianluca is a revelation. I've been studying on my own, and decided to take the plunge and do some trial lessons through Italki. Gianluca stood out straight away as prepared, engaged, and committed to my learning. He prepped and shared a Google doc which is acting as a textbook, a log of the work that we've covered so far and a prompt for future lessons. He's funny and personable, human and present, and I feel massively encouraged to have more lessons because I can already feel my confidence growing. More than that, though, there is enough structure to the conversation that I can see the ways in which I'll get better with time. Some of the (very nice and very capable) teachers I tried on italki offered to work their way through established textbooks. Gianluca's approach is much more hands-on: speaking in a much more organic (and therefore replicable and useful!) way and giving examples, learning points and helpful explanations along the way. Thanks Gianluca!

Ci sono tanti insegnanti d'italiano sul Italki, ma Gianluca ha qualcosa in piu' rispetto agli altri. Ha la voglia e la pazienza di scrivere ottime appunti nel google doc, creato da lui apposta per me. Dopo ogni lezione posso aprire il mio documento e ripassare ancora una volta tutte le espressioni nuove, tutte le regole grammaticali nuove. Gianluca, ti ringrazio tanto, perche' nonostante io parli bene, tu trovi sempre qualcosa di nuovo per farmi imparare. Non vedo l'ora della prossima lezione! A presto!
