I’ve had now more than 10 lessons with Luciana, and she has been patient and understanding of my needs and strengths. Because she also speaks other languages and is currently learning more she has the capacity to understand the process of teaching and learning very well. I definitely recommend her, she is not only an excellent teacher but has also given me great tips and insights of the Italian culture that otherwise would have taken many years to understand. TOP quality teacher!!! Luciana prepares fantastic, graphically attractive material for each class. She is patient and encouraging while maintaining super-efficient structure of the lesson. I am extremely impressed by how much information she packs into 60-minutes. Each session I learn about cardinal rules of grammar, pronunciation as well as the most intriguing cultural notes about Italy. Having extensively travelled around the globe she is very welcoming and earnestly curious about student's linguistic background/ ethnic traditions while herself being an awesome ambassador of Italian heritage!!!

Luciana displays all of the adjectives provided by Italki to describe a teacher of the Italian language. She is intelligent, hardworking, patient, creative and a real pleasure to work with. She has also been more places in the world and had more experiences than most people twice her age. She is a wonder! I feel very fortunate to have found her and hope to continue learning Italian with her.
